Arts Walk
On the last Friday of every month, downtown Twentynine Palms transforms into a walkable gallery of sound and color. Join us from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for a free, family-friendly art crawl featuring live music, pop-up exhibitions, local food, and interactive murals. It’s where neighbors meet, and the desert night comes alive.
Arts Education
We believe every child deserves the right to create. Partnering with Create CA, we advocate for high-quality arts education in Morongo Unified schools. From advocating for Prop 28 funding to hosting in-school artist residencies, we are working to ensure the arts are a staple, not a luxury, for our youth.
Art Leasing
Art shouldn't just live in galleries; it belongs in the places where we work, eat, and gather. The Adobe Mara Art Leasing Program connects local businesses with the vibrant talent of the Morongo Basin. We curate rotating exhibitions of painting, photography, and mixed media for offices, restaurants, lobbies, and public spaces throughout Twentynine Palms and beyond.
Signature Initiatives

Immersive Cultural Events
We host the monthly Adobe Mara Arts Walk, a free downtown celebration featuring live music, pop-up galleries, interactive murals, and an artisan marketplace that drives community connection and local commerce.
Next-Gen Arts Education
In partnership with Create CA, we actively advocate for equitable arts funding and deliver direct programming to schools, including in-class artist residencies and student showcases that nurture the next generation of talent.
Creative Workforce Infrastructure
We are building the foundation for a thriving Arts District by advocating for affordable live/work artist housing and providing business training to ensure creatives can afford to live and prosper in Twentynine Palms.
From Placemaking to Spacemaking
We don't just put art in places; we create spaces where art happens. Inspired by the historic Oasis of Mara, our approach to "Spacemaking" is about more than beautification—it is about connection. Every mural, workshop, and market we host is designed to turn physical locations into community assets, helping our neighbors interpret their history and imagine a vibrant future.
